Since the inception of VUEAV in 2018, we have been committed to creating an organisation with heart.
This includes inclusion and care – for our people and for everyone who is touched by the services we provide.
VUE BEAR is a symbol of our partnership with Sightsavers and represents the financial contributions we are proud to be making.
Sightsavers is an international charity working to prevent avoidable blindness, support equality for people with disabilities and advocate for change.
Worldwide, 2.2 billion people have a visual impairment, but almost half of this is preventable or treatable.
We recognise that to be truly inclusive is to think beyond the obvious, and for us that means mindfulness of those who are not blessed with the gift of sight. This is why it feels natural to partner with an organisation working to treat and prevent avoidable blindness.
Partnering with Sightsavers
In today’s world, more than ever before consumers and job seekers alike are looking to engage with organisations who give back to the community and align with their own values.
That is why it is important that we demonstrate our values through our commitment to a long-term partnership with Sightsavers charity.
Our donations will help Sightsavers to screen people for eye blinding conditions and provide life changing treatment.
Donations will also help to empower people with sight loss and other disabilities through; providing vocational training and skills, promoting inclusive education for children with disabilities, and working to ensure that effective, affordable, accessible health services are available for everyone.
